We started Adult Education at QEGS in a small way in 2004 with GCSE Maths. In 2007 we decided to offer four GCSE’s and four Leisure Learning courses and, as a result of a student request, a FSMQ in Additional Maths.

All our courses are taught at QEGS, sometimes during the day as well as in the evening, in classes only for adults.

We are totally independent from the Adult Education service in Lincolnshire (although they have been most helpful and cooperative). The school provides all the secretarial and publicity support as well as the accommodation, but the cost of the teacher comes from the student fees. This means all students must pay the full fee.

We aim to provide a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all our students, as well as providing an opportunity for them to meet together for coffee for a short time before classes start.
